For all of our children to reach their full educational achievement, a high level of school attendance is essential. We strive to achieve 100% attendance however we do appreciate that, at times, our children become ill. Good attendance is between 96% and 100%. We promote good attendance at school through our weekly attendance cup and punctuality prize, both recognised during our 'Celebration Assembly'.

 

Attendance is monitored and tracked on a weekly and half termly basis. Meetings with Mrs Luker will be held if there are concerns regarding your child's absence or punctuality.

 

If you need to take your child out of school for any reason, permission must be sought before the event. The 'Absence Application Form' must be completed and returned to the School Office. Only extenuating circumstances will be authorised to help promote and maintain a high level of attendance.
